Grace Ding
Public Engagement Trainee, Summer 2025
Grace is a rising senior at Barnard College studying Environmental Science & Sustainability and Ancient Studies. Through her passion for sustainable development and environmental policy, she has developed skills including legislative writing, environmental research, and GIS. Previously, she completed an internship with NY Assemblyman Raga, growing her interest in climate solutions that prioritize equity and uplifting communities. As the Outreach Director for the Columbia Policy Institute, she further explored policy communication through content development for the organization. In her free time, she enjoys reading, wandering botanical gardens, and finding cheap vegan food.
What drew me to ASC was its focus on sustainable innovation by supporting programs that drive critical environmental change through effective and creative communication. I am excited to be a part of this change and learn from experts that prioritize equity and community service."
